Contact Overtime Hours Calculator
One email address handles everything on this site: a calculator that gives a wrong number, a result you cannot reconcile with your own arithmetic, a page you cannot use with a keyboard or screen reader, or a rule that has changed since the page was written.
There is no contact form here and no support portal. A form would only collect what a plain email already carries, and a ticket queue would imply a service level this site does not run.
Nothing here promises a response time, and a message that needs no reply — a corrected figure, a broken link — is still worth sending.
What to write about
These four kinds of message are the ones this address exists for. Each link opens a message with the subject line already filled in; the address is the same either way.
- A bugA button that does nothing, a total that will not update, a layout that breaks, an error message that appears when your input was fine.
- A calculation questionA result you cannot reproduce by hand, or a worked example, formula or FAQ answer that disagrees with what the tool actually returns.
- An accessibility problemA control you cannot reach with the Tab key, a focus outline you cannot see, a label a screen reader does not announce, contrast too low to read.
- A source correctionAn overtime threshold, tax-year figure, cap or official link that is out of date or does not match the government source it cites.
Details that help reproduce a problem
A calculator issue is easier to make sense of when the message carries the inputs behind it. The four items below are the details that let someone recreate what you saw from the message alone.
- Which page. The full address, such as
overtimehourscalculator.com/time-card-calculator/. Several tools share a look, and the same complaint means different things on different pages. - Exactly what you entered. Every value you typed and every option you selected — the rate, the hours, the multiplier, the overtime threshold, the rounding choice, the clock times including AM and PM. A field left out of the message may be the one that caused it.
- What you saw and what you expected. The number the page displayed, the number you believe is right, and how you worked it out. Include the full values rather than only the difference, because rounding, inputs and formulas can all affect the displayed result.
- Your browser and device. The browser and version, whether you were on a phone or a computer, and any assistive technology in use. Add extensions that block scripts if you run them — the calculators need JavaScript to compute, even though every page reads without it.
A screenshot helps for anything visual: a clipped layout, an unreadable colour, a control that overlaps another. Crop it to the calculator before sending, so nothing else from your screen travels with it.
For a source correction, the useful part is the link. Name the page and the figure, and give the government page that contradicts it — a citation from the IRS or the Department of Labor can be checked directly, where a description of the rule from memory cannot.
Do not send personal or payroll data
Nothing you type into a calculator on this site is uploaded by the site's scripts; it is computed in your browser. The site does not deliberately store calculator inputs, though your browser may restore form values according to its own settings. Email works the other way: a message leaves your device and travels through mail servers to a mailbox. Please keep sensitive material out of it.
Never attach or type
- Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, or any part of them.
- Pay stubs, timesheets, payroll registers, W-2s, or exports from a payroll system.
- Tax returns or any document filed with a tax authority.
- Bank account, routing or card numbers.
- Photographs of an ID, an employee badge or an HR document.
- Anyone else's name, wage, hours or contact details.
None of it is needed. A bug report can use substitute figures: if your real rate is $27.40, use a non-sensitive value that still reproduces the problem and report the exact replacement inputs. Keep the same field choices, boundary conditions and decimal precision, because those details may matter. Because an email cannot be unsent, removing sensitive or identifying information before sending is the reliable precaution.
What the site itself collects, and what its analytics do and do not see, is set out in the privacy policy.
What this address cannot do
This is a calculator site. Its own arithmetic, wording and sources are the whole of what an email here can be about; everything below is outside what this address covers.
- No legal, tax or payroll advice. Whether you are exempt, whether a bonus belongs in your regular rate, whether an employer has paid you correctly — those depend on your job, your state and your contract, and no reply from this address would be worth relying on. The terms of use say the same thing in full.
- No wage disputes. A calculation on this site is not evidence and cannot be certified. The Wage and Hour Division handles federal complaints, and your state labor office handles rules the federal baseline does not cover.
- No individual tax figures. The no tax on overtime calculator estimates a deduction, not your withholding or your refund. Questions about your own return belong with the IRS or a tax professional.
- No accounts to recover. There is no sign-in, no saved timesheet and no stored history, so there is nothing to reset, export or delete on your behalf.
If you want to know what the tools do cover and the rules they are built on before writing, the about page lists all eight and the limits on each.
